Harriet Lake March 13-15 2009
One of the colder trips so far. I brought two bags and slept in the cab of the truck thinking I could use the heat. Well I didn't pay attention and the truck was leaning a bit. My head was the wrong way and it was miserable trying to sleep. The solitude was worth it though. What a peaceful trip. No one there but me! Spent a good share of my time reading by the fire, walking around the lake, and trying to tempt a fish into eating a worm. I briefly thought about a polar swim, but that nonsense was out of my head after a millisecond or so! The photos will do most of the talking.
I saw this guy on the way home. Notice the dog on the platform? Looks like fun!
